Table

Do you want to add a table to your post or page? Well, you’re in luck because I’m here to walk you through it step by step!

How to add a table block

Adding a Table block to your content is simple. Just follow these steps.

  1. Begin by clicking the ‘+’ button on your editor. This will open a pop-up window where you can select the Table block.
  2. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut /table to insert a Table block swiftly. Remember, tables work best for organizing data rather than designing the layout of your page.

Block toolbar

Once you’ve added a Table block, you’ll see a toolbar with various icons to manipulate the block.

Transform to

The ‘Transform to’ button lets you change the table block into columns or group block easily. You can change up the block type but keep your content.

Drag & Move

Use the six-dot icon to drag your block, or the up and down arrow buttons let you move a block one position higher or lower.

Alignment

The ‘Alignment’ tool lets you adjust the width of your table in the table block. Just click the icon, and a menu will pop up with options. You can align your table to none, max 1200px wide, or full width. Additionally, you can align left, center, or right.

Column Alignment

The ‘Column Alignment’ tool lets you adjust the alignment of columns within the table. You can choose to align columns left, center, or right.
